About

I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which I collaborate with clients to bring about the change that they desire. I use an integrative approach to therapy and am highly skilled at matching effective therapeutic modalities to treat clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, communication, and relational issues. My experience as a therapist encompasses working with a diverse client base, including African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Native Americans, other ethnic minorities, and members of the LBGTQ community. In addition, I draw on my considerable experience as a former professional musician and teacher.

My experience also includes working with clients ranging from school age through the elder population in providing psychotherapies such as CBT, EMDR, individual therapy, family therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and etc. I respect and appreciate the uniqueness of each client and use client-centered and strengths-based approaches. I offer to work from a spiritual perspective with clients when this is a meaningful experience for them. It gives me great pleasure to support and bear witness to clients stepping into a place of greater empowerment through bringing about positive change in their lives.
