About

I am an Advanced Practice Practitioner. I provide medication management for those suffering from mental health disorders.

I have over 36 years of experience providing care for those in need. I graduated with a diploma as a Registered Nurse. I spent the next ten years employed in the intensive care unit. I developed essential knowledge concerning the medical/nursing care and treatment for those with life-threatening injuries and illnesses.

In 1994, I completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a certification to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife. I assisted women and their families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. During this time, I develop a deeper understanding of the treatment of endocrinology and infertility dysfunction.

In 2008 – 2013, I worked part-time at the Program of Human Sexuality at the University of Minnesota. I treated clients with gender and sexual concerns. I advanced my knowledge in treating those seeking care in identity and gender expression.

In 2012, I completed a Post-Graduate Program. I was Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Mental Health. From 2012 to 2020, I was employed at the Community-University Health Care Clinic. I functioned as a psychiatric nurse practitioner providing care for culturally diverse populations.

If you would like my assistance, I provide holistic health care to help you gain well-being and competency.
